What did he do: The veteran bowler came in at a time when things were looking pretty good for the Kevin Pietersen-led side. Like always, the Bangalorean stood tall running through the lower-order. The lanky leggie finished the match with outstanding figures of 3.1-1-5-5.
Turning points: Rahul Dravid’s innings set the stage for a fightback. After early strikes by Praveen Kumar and Jesse Ryder, Anil Kumble responded with a five-for. Kumble got the prized wicket of Yusuf Pathan.
